Gift card holders can sell unwanted vouchers online using a little-known website — but they’ll have to accept a fifth less than the face value.
Vouchers for shops, spas and days out are popular presents, with around £5.6 billion spent on them this year alone.
However, around £5.40 of every £100 put on to gift cards is never spent.
