NYSHEX adds board members

The New York Shipping Exchange (NYSHEX), which operates a platform on which shippers and ocean carriers can negotiate so-called “smart” contracts, has appointed four new members to its board of directors, the company said in a statement Tuesday.

The newest members of the NYSHEX board include Bjorn Jensen, vice president of global logistics for Electrolux; Jochen Gutschmidt, head of global logistics procurement at Nestlé; Nick Fafoutis, senior VP of sales and CCO of CMA CGM America; and Donald Davis, SVP of sales and customer service for Hapag-Lloyd in North America.
