Svexa and Zone7 merge operations to offer an end-to-end AI suite of performance tools

Two of the industry’s most prominent artificial intelligence firms working on athlete performance and injury risk, Zone7 and Svexa, are merging to provide a more complete offering under the Svexa brand name. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Zone7 has specialized in load management in team sports — soccer, American football and basketball — while working with the clubs themselves and, more recently, with leagues such as the NWSL. Svexa, meanwhile, has grown more prominently as a tool for individual training programs across a wider range of disciplines. As a joint entity, they can offer an end-to-end AI suite of performance tools not only in sports but also potentially in other sectors, such as military and emergency services.
