Starbucks’ PSLs might conjure thoughts of crispy cool mornings followed by chilly evening breezes, the deep green of leaves evolving to vibrant shades of yellow and red and brown, a later sunrise met with an early sunset—these are the accouterments of sweater weather and, even more than that, a sure indicator of the changing seasons. But the official start of fall doesn’t begin until the end of September.
