The Blumberg Capital CIO Council is an invitation-only council of CIOs, CISOs and senior IT executives that connects members and portfolio company entrepreneurs to provide introductions, forge meaningful partnerships and engage in thoughtful conversations about business and technology trends.

With more than 100 members, the Council meets once a quarter in both San Francisco and New York. Meetings are typically hosted over lunch, and include presentations from portfolio companies and discussions led by technology experts. In recent meetings, we’ve discussed machine learning, blockchain, cybersecurity and the Israeli technology ecosystem.

Once a year, we host dinners in San Francisco and New York in the place of the lunch meetings. The dinners are an opportunity for Council members and the Blumberg Capital team to exchange ideas, share current issues and discuss collaboration. The CIO Council creates a strategic advantage for Blumberg Capital, our portfolio and the Council members. There are opportunities for Council members to engage beyond the formal meetings. When bandwidth and interests align, CIO Council members may serve in advisory roles for portfolio companies or assist Blumberg Capital in due diligence for prospective investments.
